2009 Pro Cup Rules and Points Scoring

(1) Wall Ring is a no. (2) Once your telling eithier KX250Frippa, Death_Planner, or yungdough617 that your quitting and we ask you to confirm it (ask a second time), and you still quit your done you can sign back up and wait in line on the driver sign up list. (3) No team can have more than 4 Drivers. (4) Personal set-ups are allowed for every points race except the All-Star Race. (5) All races are no damage races. (6) All road course races (Watkins Glen and Chicago Pier) will be no caution races. (7) All restictor plate races (Daytona, and Talladega) will have speed comp on. (8) At all tracks in 2009 there will be qualifying. (9) Custom cars are allowed for certain races, yungdough617, Death_Planner, or KX250Frippa will messege you about these races. (10) No Wrecking People on Purpose, illegal blocking, or Wreckless Moves. Wreck are handled by the following. 1st Time: Verbal Warning 2nd Time: depending on the situation another Verbal Warning or 25 point penalty 3rd Time: depending on how KX250Frippa, Death_Planner or yungdough617 handled the 2nd time, you'll receive a 25 point penalty, or another 25 point penalty if u got one for the 2nd time(50 in total) plus an automatic kick from the race (if you don't leave I'll you'll have another 25 point penalty) (75 in total), and a two (2) race suspension. 4th Time: Automatic kick from race with a two (2) race suspension. (11) If you can't connect to a race you will still be given 130 points or last place pts. and a start added to your stats. (12) If you can get in due to the race being full you'll recieve last place pts. (13) If you are unable to make a race let me know a day in advance. You are allowed to choose someone els to drive your car. You will get all the points if you choose to do that. But if you can't find a sub driver 130 points (same as not connecting) will be giving to you (it will count as a sub). Limit of Four (4) Times for the Regular season, and once (1) for The Chase. (14) If you didn't make a race and you don't have a sub driver, no points are awarded. (15) Everybody is required to make a lap in practice, and if your not within 1.5 seconds of the fastest lap you will be kicked from the room and not allowed to race for that race. Example: If the fastest lap is 29.000 secomds, your fastest lap has to be 30.500 second or better. This rule will not count on road courses (Watkins Glen and Chicago Pier). (16) For the first 4 races if anybody new join the league they will be given sub points for the race they didn't run to catch up. It will count as sub on stats (Limit of 4 for the regular season). (17) Their are NO subs or setups allowed for bonus races. (18) When we do a bonus race it will be a default (veteran) setups only race, except for the Coke Zero Team Challange. Only first place will get 10 bonus points going into the chase. (19) If you are not in the league don't try to join the races. (20) You can Qualify for the 2009 Chase by doing one of the following: 1) Having Fourteen (14) Points race starts without using a sub. 2) Winning the most Regular Season Points Races. 3) Winning a Race and starting 8 point Races. 4) Winning the All-Star Race or Budweiser Shootout (anyone can run the All-Star Race if yungdough617 or KX250Frippa approve the person). 5) Being in the Top 9 at the end of the Regular Season (Richmond 4/26/09) (21) Driver points scoring is based on how a driver finishes a race the host of the race whether it's yungdough, Death_Planner or KX250Frippa will write down the results of the race. Points matter in the regular season for chase seeding (rank) and bragging rights but it's only important that you win as much as possible and get bonus points for the chase. The points will be reset to 0 for every chase driver at the start of the chase you receive your bonus points before the Martinsville race also. Example: if you won three (3) regular season race you points total would be 30 before the start of Martinsville. Who ever has the most points at the end of Ford 400 (the final race) will be crowned 2009 Pro Cup Champion. The prize will be full bragging rights and an exclusive 2009 Pro Cup Championship Custom car with your car number Made by Death_Planner. (22) If there was to be a tie in the points at the end of the season the following are tiebreakers (in order). 1) Whoever has more wins 2) Whoever has more Top 5's 3) Whoever has more starts 4) Whoever has the most poles 5) There would be a 8 lap raceoff at Talladega, the winner would be champion. All Pro Cup rules would apply during this race. (23) The Manufactuer's (Team) Champoinship is a little different because their are many ways to earn your team manufactuer (team) points. The ways you can earn points are as followed (you can only get team point in points races): Finishing 1st Place = 10 points Finishing 2nd Place = 8 points Finishing 3rd Place = 5 points Finishing 4th Place = 3 points Finishing 5th Place = 2 points All Other Finishes (starts)=1 point Starting on Pole (without cheating/wallriding) = 2 points Setting (Having) the Fastest lap of the race = 2 points Being the Rookie of the Race (highest finishing rookie driver) = 2 points Being the Biggest Mover (gaining the most positions from the start to the end of the race) = 3 points The only way you can lose points for your team is being penalized for the race or a supension. The penalty is 6 points. The championship will be giving the the end of the regular season (after the Richmond race). The team that has the highest amount of points at the end of the regular season is the 2009 Pro Cup Manufactuer's (Team) Champion. The winning team will receive bragging right as the best team in Bass Pro Racing and a special edition Manufactuer's (team) edition 2009 Pro Cup Manufactuers (team) championship custom car Made by Death_Planner. (24) If there was ever a tie in the Team points the tiebraker would be the following (In Order): 1) The team with more wins 2) The team with more starts 3) There would be a race at Talladega using the Coke Zero Team Challange format except a win would get a 4 drivers a race (2 from each team). (25) Tip: Share good setup's within the team is a smart thing to do for Team points but it's not required it's a recommedation. NO TEAM CHANGES! These are the Pro Cup rules for now, more might be added if nessesary but will be announced in messeges.
Mountain Dew All Star Race II - (Friday, February 27, 2009) This race is an All-Star Race at Lowe's Motor Speedway simular to the Sprint Cup All-Star Race. All ProCup winners from this year will be in the The Main event and will not participate in the ProCup Open or LCQ (last chance qualifier) . The ProCup Open is Open to any ProCup Driver. Their will be 40 laps with no setups (verteran only) but we'll qualifly, and the Top Half of the field will be transfer to the main event (Example if 8 people race in the open the Top 4 will move on), the others can go to a LCQ where anybody that knows KX250Frippa or yungdough617 is eligible but have to sign up for race by (2/27/09 by 7:00pm est). The LCQ will be a 40 lap race with no setups, pratice, but we'll have qualifying. The winner of the LCQ will be in the main event. All other racers are eliminated. The Bass pro All Star Race will be a 80 lap race that will require a pit-stop for fuel. This race will be a no-setup race with qualifying. The leader at the halfway point (lap 40) will receive 20 point added to their regular season points. The Winner will be eligible for the chase with 10 bonus points. The following are some simple rules. * Thier are no custom cars, subs, or set-ups (everyone will load up veteran setup and add 100% tape) allowed for any segment in this race. *All of the segment will have cautions. * The same ProCup wreck policy will apply for this race. * The Bass Pro Open race will start around 8:10pm est (the session will open at 8:00pm est) all other segment times will be announced on that day. But check back with us because the time of the open isn't official it's just an ideal time. Coke Zero Team Challange- (Friday, April 10, 2009) This challange will have 4 segment with 4 driver in each segment (one from each team). This segment you compete in will be based on your regular season points and team rank. Example: If you have the second most regular season points on your team your ranked #2 and will race in Segment #2. The segment lineup for the Coke Zero Team Challange will be announced after the Chicago Pier race under the All-Star Race results on April 5th, 2009. Each Segment will be 40 laps with cautions. Yungdough617 or Death_Planner will be the host of every segment but will only "race" in their assigned race. At the end of the Race the points will be Added to their team total for the night with the following system.
1st Place=4 points
2nd Place=3 points
3rd Place=2 points
4th Place=1 point
Not showing Up (DNS)= 1 point
The points will be added to team and the team with the most point at the end of the 4 segments win the Challange and the winning team will get 10 bonus point added to their Pro Cup team points. The following are some rules for the race.
* No setups are allowed (everyone will load up the veteran setup and add 100% tape).
* Custom car are allowed but since it's a team challange and ProCup rarely has any custom car race you might want to customize car with a team color or something inventive but it's not a requirement.
* Speed Comp will be on
* Ajustments besides the 100% tape are to be made during the race on pitstops.
* The ProCup Wreck policy apply for this race.
